BDSC Golf Classic
The BDSC Golf Classic and Auction is an annual event first organised in 2006. All proceeds from the tournament go towards sport at Botany Downs Secondary College. Now in it’s fourth consecutive year the event continues to grow. After raising over $10,000.00 dollars in 2008 we are looking to make the event even bigger and brighter than last year.
With the growing pressures on school budgets the college requires extra assistance to provide for over 100 sports teams. The BDSC Golf Tournament and Auction is not just about raising money for a worthy cause but also to raise the profile of your company in a very supportive community/ As the tournament is a modified ambrose competition it enables both experience and novice golfers to enjoy a great afternoon of golf whilst supporting a worthy cause.
It is vitally important that students today are physically active in organised sport. The cost of registration fees and sports uniforms and equipment is often prohibitively expensive. With your support of the BDSC Classic Golf Tournament and Auction, sport will be more accessible and affordable for more students at out college.
The Grange Golf Club
The BDSC gold Classic and Auction 2009 will be held at one of New Zealand’s finest golf courses, The Grange Golf Club. As one of New Zealand’s best courses The Grange Gold Club offers excellent facilities and a championship standard course suitable for all abilities.
The course is always immaculately presented in all weathers and is an excellent test of golf. The course has hosted every major New Zealand Tournament, both Amateur and Professional.
Team Entry
A basic team entry costs $600.00 for six (6) players. Your team entry includes:
- Entry for 1 team of six players
- Promotional giveaways
- BBQ lunch, 2 free drinks and a light dinner per player

BDSC Golf Classic Auction
The major part of this fundraiser is the Auction held after dinner. If you have any goods or services that you wish to donate for the auction please contact Mike Leach, Principal .
The auction items will be listed on the website along with the sponsor who we are extremely grateful to. If you are unable to attend the BDSC Gold Classic Auction, you might like to place a big by proxy. The closing date for all proxy bids will be 5:00pm, Thursday 10 December 2009. Please email the Principal with the item number, your bid and personal contact details.
