Ian Marshall
Current Chairperson of the Board of Trustees
Ian has been on the Board of Trustees since the original establishment BoT back in 2001
Ian says it has been an incredible privilege to be able to play a part in the establishment of such a fine college. “We had a vision for what we wanted to achieve for our community. To see that vision fulfilled and exceeded is just so great. We have fantastic facilities operating so well. Our students are performing exceptionally well from a national perspective. Our wonderful staff and management work so hard to deliver the results our students, families and community expect
Recently we have reviewed our mission statement and values. It is very pleasing to see our values are as strong as they were when we first set them and more importantly our students, families and staff are all proud to support the values and achieve the outcomes we all envisaged.”
Ian has two children at the college and lives in the community. He is a Justice of the Peace.
His entire career has been in the construction industry where he has held roles in NZ with both national and international focuses. He has also held many industry sector roles such as the former National President of the NZ Institute of Building Inc.
Ian is a Fellow of the NZIOB and a Member of NZIM and NZIOD
