NZ $456.00 (Southern Cross ‘Max’ - includes baggage/personal items cover)
NZ $300.00 (Southern Cross ‘Essentials’ - no baggage/personal items cover)
NZ $491.00 (Uni-care NZ Student Policy)

Uniform
Varies according to gender and optional items: approx. NZ$300.00
(Shoes not include.) May be purchased in home country - black lace-up shoe, not trainer- type.
Year 12 & 13 girls may also wear a plain black flat-heeled slip-on shoe with no decoration Please check with the school for accepted styles.)
ADDITIONAL FEES
Exam fees
For students entering NCEA exams at levels 1, 2 or 3: NZ$375 per year.
Subjects: Some subjects charge for materials used. Fees may be $150-$250 a year.
Outdoor Education is an extra $500 per year if this subject is chosen, $250 per semester.
Voluntary Activities/ trips Up to NZ $500/year
Sports team participation (varies according to sport) Approximately NZ $50/year
FEES PROTECTION
Botany Downs Secondary College has a Fee Protection policy to safeguard the fees paid by International Students, in the unlikely event that the school may not be able to commence or continue to deliver tuition to the international student. The School’s Board of Trustees guarantees to hold in reserve sufficient funds to meet the requirements of any refund in these circumstances.
