Held annually where students and staff volunteer to pick up litter around the local community. Every year we have over 300 students participate. This will include Botany Town Centre, local reserves and streets. Students have or need to indicate to Whanau Leaders that they will attend and will be in groups that are allocated an area. Participation is a service to the community and contributes towards the Whanau Shield for Semester Two.
The morning begins with students gathering from 9.30 am (including filling out attendance chits to gain points), and a briefing will commence at 10 am (safety and allocation of areas). The clean-up is expected to completed by 11.30 am with students, returning to and then departing from BDSC.
