Short-listed applicants will be required to undergo a Police Vet once every three years. Applicants for this position must have NZ Residency or a valid NZ Work Visa and a clean driver’s licence is required.

Sports Coordinator


Applications close: 4pm, Friday16 January 2026

Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:00pm during term time.
Additional holiday/weekend hours will be negotiated.
Start date to be negotiated

We are looking for a sports person to join our team to assist with the administration and successful delivery of our sports programme. This person will be responsible for organising safe and enjoyable trainings and games for a variety of sports codes ensuring compliance with our Health and Safety and EOTC policies and processes.

The successful applicant must have good communication, organisation, and planning skills, and be able to follow BDSC and College Sport systems, policies, and procedures. Developing good relationships with students, their families, our community, and local clubs is a large part of this role. Previous knowledge and experience in working with young people would be an advantage.

Applicants must have NZ residency and a clean driver’s license. Short listed applicants will be required to undergo a police vet.

Learning Assistant x2


Applications close: 4pm, Thursday 24 January

Fixed term position. Term time only.
30 hours per week (full time) – five days per week.

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Assistant to join our team and provide support to students with learning and social-emotional challenges.

This role involves working collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. The successful candidate will assist students in accessing the curriculum, developing social and emotional skills, and building confidence in their learning journey.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students in class and during activities to help them achieve their learning goals.
  • Implementing strategies to manage behavioural challenges in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Working closely with the teaching team to adapt resources and approaches to meet individual needs.
  • Encouraging student engagement and fostering a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

The most important attributes for this role are:

  • Empathy – understanding and responding to the needs of each student with care and patience.
  • Strong communication skills – effectively interacting with students, staff, and families.
  • Initiative – being proactive in identifying ways to support students and improve outcomes.
  • Teamwork – working positively and collaboratively within a team environment.
