Cabinet announced in February 2020 a significant review and reform of the NCEA qualification. The process of strengthening NCEA was to improve well-being, equity, coherence, pathway and credibility for students and teachers. The NCEA change package will be implemented over the course of five years, starting in 2023. At BDSC we have been working closely with our staff to anticipate and prepare for the NCEA change package, and in response have developed a new Year 11 programme for 2023.
To learn more about what the Year 11 programme looks like and what it will mean for your child, we invite the parents of current Years 9 and 10 students to an information evening on Thursday 4 August at 7pm in the Performing Arts Centre.
