Family and Friends Meeting for August

August 14, 2019 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

This month:

“Options for 2020”

Mr Cornell van Kralingen, Deputy Principal will discuss “Course/ Subject Options for 2020 and Understanding University Entrance Requirements”. While the key purpose for the evening will be around course option selection for Years 10 to 12, an understanding of the University Entrance requirements around literacy / numeracy which may have an effect on their course options, will be useful to you. In addition, we will show you how the web portal works for option selection.  If you have any questions regarding University Entrance Requirements and your child’s course options for 2020, then this is a great opportunity to find some answers.

The BDSC Family & Friends Association would like to invite all parents, caregivers, teachers, and interested persons directly associated with the college to our monthly meeting.

One of our key objectives is Connecting BDSC families with the college.

How can I get involved?

  • Attend monthly Family and Friend meetings

All are welcome. Even if you can’t make it every month, it is an ideal platform for information sharing (and to discuss any issues with our big chief – the Principal).

We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm in our college Staffroom (above Reception).

Not everybody likes meetings, committees etc., but just want to help when they have the time available, that’s fine, we need extra hands every now and then. Any interested person directly associated with the college can help, so…

  • Add your name to our Family and Friends contact list

Leave your details with our receptionist Mrs Yvonne De Graaf,   273-2310 ext. #495   y.deGraaf@bdsc.school.nz and then we can contact you when we need help.
