We are pleased to inform you that on Friday 1 November 2024 we will be celebrating the graduation of Year 13 students. This student-only event will be held at St Columba Church, 480 Ti Rakau Drive, Golflands.
For those familiar with our past graduation celebrations, this year’s event is different. The change is due to the rising costs of hosting large events which has significantly increased ticket prices for students and whānau thus creating a financial barrier for some. To ensure that all Year 13 students have the option of attending this important celebration, we are opting for a more affordable student-only event.
The celebration includes speeches from the Principal and the Head Student Team, and a presentation of medals and scrolls to each graduating student. Following the formalities, afternoon tea and refreshments will be served in the function room.
Event Details:
Date: Friday 1 November 2024.
Venue: St Columba Church, 480 Ti Rakau Drive, Golflands.
Doors Open: 12:45pm.
Start Time: 1:00pm.
Approximate Finish Time: 4:00pm.
Dress Code: Smart casual.
Ticket Price: $25 per student.
Tickets must be purchased at our Finance Centre by Thursday 24 October and will be distributed at the final Year 13 assembly.
As this is a school event, all school rules and expectations will apply.
Please note that refunds will not be available for non-attendance as the costs for medals and afternoon tea are based on confirmed numbers.
