Library

We strive to support literacy and the students’ learning across the curriculum for all levels by providing equitable access to information in all its forms. We regularly collaborate with teaching staff to help support student learning by running classes to teach guided inquiry and research skills.

Textbooks

Textbooks are issued from the LibraryOpen during Interval, lunch and by appointment.

Issuing

Early in the year, your teacher will book your whole class in to borrow textbooks from the Library Foyer (entrance to the Library) during class time.  At other times of the year textbooks are issued from within the Library.

If you are away when your class gets their textbooks, know what textbook you need and come to the Library at interval or lunch to get one issued to you.

To issue a textbook or library book you must show us your student I.D. card (previous years ID are suitable) or your timetable so we know who you are.

Returning

Return textbooks to the Library in the slot marked for Textbooks. Textbooks can be returned anytime between 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Overdue

Make sure to return your textbooks at the end of the school year. If you do not you will have to pay for the cost of the textbook(s) not returned.

You may still issue textbooks when in possession of overdue resources. However, you may not issue out any library resources.

Social Media

Our Library uses social media and online resources to facilitate continuous learning and to engage students, teachers and the college community in order to keep you informed about the library, college events and activities, along with author and book news, reviews and much more. We encourage you to visit and engage with us using these resources.
