  SGCNZ Shakespeare Festival
  On Friday 30 May, a group of 12 Botany students and their teachers met at 4.30am at Auckland Airport to wing their way to Wellington and take part in the national finals of the SGCNZ Shakespeare Festival at St James Theatre.

  Empowering Future Financial Leaders
  On Wednesday 4 June, our Level 3 Finance students had the privilege of attending a dynamic and insightful workshop delivered by SavY — a student-led initiative from the University of Auckland. This free workshop was tailored specifically for Finance and Accounting students and covered a range of essential financial literacy topics, including investments, banking, savings, and KiwiSaver.

  On Wednesday 7 May, the BDSC Chinese classes were fortunate enough to meet Mr Zhao, the head coach of New Zealand Wushu Academy. Coach Zhao visited our school to introduce us to Wushu - commonly known as 'Kung- Fu'.

  Culinary Expertise at Hospitality Competition
  On Tuesday 20 May, a team of senior TEF and FAH students had the opportunity to participate in the Secondary and Tertiary Hospitality Training Competition at MIT. It was an incredible day where our students showcased their culinary expertise, resulting in all 15 participants receiving medals.

  Polyfest 2025
  BDSC attended the 50th Anniversary celebration of ASB Polyfest held 2-5 April. This Auckland Secondary Schools' cultural festival, the largest in Australasia, drew over 80,000 visitors over four days. Schools and the community enjoyed performances on cultural stages representing the Cook Islands, Diversity, Māori, Niue, Samoa, and Tonga.
