On Tuesday 20 May, a team of senior TEF and FAH students had the opportunity to participate in the Secondary and Tertiary Hospitality Training Competition at MIT. It was an incredible day where our students showcased their culinary expertise, resulting in all 15 participants receiving medals.
Our team competed in six categories and emerged victorious in three of them, which was truly remarkable. We are thrilled to give special recognition to the following students who were supreme winners in their respective events:
- Gianna Lin 12B1: Gold in Café Style Cake
- Chrisna Swanepoel 13J5: Gold in Pasta
- Blessing Schmidt 13S4: Gold in Smoothies, achieving a perfect score of 100 points!
