Year 10 BUP Commerce Department Dragons Den – Innovation Challenge
On Monday 2 December 2024, the Year 10 Business Pathways classes participated in a BDSC Commerce Department Dragons Den Finals. Each Business Pathways class group presented their ideas to the group of Dragons in their classes. Congratulations to everyone especially to the winners in each of the seven Year 10 BUP classes. A special thank you to all the business teachers for helping their students put together their presentations and guiding them through this task. Students were given five weeks of class time and out of class time to learn about this new learning experience where students worked as a group and learned about hands-on business skills and life skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, active listening, empathy, teamwork, cultural responsiveness, helped students to develop student’s agency.
Overall, it was a fun-filled engaging experience with creative and innovative ideas and presentations.
