2023 Whānau Performance was filled with the nostalgia of 2000’s to 2010’s music. From Taylor Swift to Justin Bieber and Sophie Ellis Baxtor, the BDSC student crowd experienced a variety of amazing performances filled with enthusiasm, confidence and well-choreographed dance moves.
A big congratulations to the winners. In first place was Discovery Whānau performing ‘Party in the USA’ by Miley Cyrus. Second place was scooped up by Endeavour Whānau with their act titled ‘Endeavour Pop Anthem’. Securing third place was Britten Whānau with their ‘Throw Back Britten’.
Well done to all students who were involved in each performance. Your entertainment was much appreciated by everyone. Additionally, on behalf of the BDSC student body, we would like to thank the Lead Students from every whānau who put in so much effort and māhi to get as many Year 9’s and 10’s participating in the Whānau Performance, taking up lunch times they worked tirelessly to put a top-quality performance on.
